Sustainable Development Goals: Denmark
Photo by Markus Winkler on Unsplash Out of all the countries participating to meet the sustainable development goals, Denmark is first in place and is followed by Sweden and Finland (SDR, 2019). Denmark has made it clear by its actions and statistics that the Sustainable development goals are a priority for them and they plan on meeting them. In order to make this possible, "Government implementation of the Action Plan and sustainable development in general is funded by budget allocations as approved by Parliament in the annual budget negotiations for the coming fiscal year" (United Nations, 2019).
